The Ithaca Institute strives to provide practical solutions to the current and future need for leadership development in the field of advancement and the not-for-profit sector. We seek to develop a curriculum that provides training on the functions truly required by the job, and that integrates personal growth with professional development in order to better serve the needs of individuals, organizations and society.

The Ithaca Institute was founded by Kathleen M. Cole, Vicky L. Devlin and Paula J. Peter and is administered by Darlene Zaharis.
